Get in touch
Found a problem, or have an idea? Email support@driveeverywhere.co.uk. It helps to say which iPhone and version of iOS you have, and the version of Drive Everywhere (in Settings, then About).
How do I move a lesson?
On the calendar, press and hold a lesson, then drag it to a new time. Drag it to the edge of the screen and hold to carry it to another day. Drag the handle at its top or bottom to change its length.
How do payments work?
Record a payment as the number of lessons it covers. Payments go to a student's lessons oldest first, so each lesson shows as Paid, as Unpaid if it's booked but not yet paid for, or as Arrears once it's taken place without payment. The Arrears card on the dashboard lists everyone who owes.
Can I set my working hours?
Yes: in Settings, then Calendar, choose Working hours. Use the same hours on each day you work, or set each day on its own, with more than one window on a day if you like.
Is the text too small, or hard to read?
Drive Everywhere follows your iPhone's text size. In Settings, then Reading, you can also switch to Lexend, a typeface designed to reduce visual stress.
Where are my students kept?
On your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account, so they come back if you delete the app or get a new iPhone. Without iCloud, save a backup from the app, in Settings, then Backup. There's no account, and nothing you enter is sent to us. If you agree, the app shares how it's used and any crashes, without anything you've entered, and you can turn that off in Settings, under Privacy. The privacy policy has the details.
Data protection complaints
How to complain about how we handle your personal information, and what we'll do. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.
How to complain
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal information, email privacy@driveeverywhere.co.uk. If you contact us another way, such as through support, we'll treat it as a complaint just the same.
We'll let you know we've got it
We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
We'll look into it
We'll look into what happened, and may ask you for more details so we can understand the problem.
We'll reply
We'll send you a full reply within one month of receiving your complaint. If it's complicated, we may need up to two more months, and we'll tell you why.
We keep a record
We keep a record of each complaint, what we did and the outcome for 12 months after it's closed, as set out in our data retention page.
If you're not happy with our reply
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. You can also go to the ICO at any time, without complaining to us first.
